Elite Cleaning and Environmental Services Ltd understands the importance of safety, not just to our staff, but the safety of our clients environments and the people who work within and utilise their facilities.

The company has put in place a number of measures to maintain a safe environment for our staff and clients:

Segregate - To minimise contact between contractors and building users as much as possible

Supervise - To supervise any contact that does take place

Code of Conduct - To require contractors to observe a code of conduct - this includes our clients as well as our own company rules

Regulate Access - Elite staff will be required whilst on duty at the clients premises to wear their approved Company Identification Badge, with photo ID in a visible position and branded work wear.

Checks - All operatives working in specific environments will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. Prior to recruitment, all prospective employees are required to provide Elite with 3 Forms of ID and agree to DBS checks.

In addition to the above staff are advised of the companies whistle blowing procedures and on how to report such matters.

Safeguarding Training

Our organisation strongly believes in the enrichment and investment in our workforce, providing staff and clients with additional benefits.

We operate within a range of industry sectors, facilitating the specific contractual needs of our clients. For example where it is a requirement we provide safeguarding training to staff working within sectors where potential contact with vulnerable groups may occur.

The training provided will teach employees to fully understand the different types of abuse or neglect. Employees will be provided with information on how to identify signs of abuse or neglect and what to look for.  They will be informed of what steps to take should they suspect abuse and what to do if they are aware of any abuse taking place.  The content of the course has been independently certified as conforming to the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines, and on completion of the course, trainees will be awarded with a Virtual College certificate.
